+1 Drain Water Per Click Fish & Selling Guide

Fish only appear on an empty pool

There is no fishing rod and no minigame. Fish are the reward for finishing a drain: empty a pool completely, walk down to the bottom, and pick up what is lying there. A pool you drained to 90% pays nothing at all, which is why the beginner guide treats “finish the pool” as the first habit worth building.

Your backpack caps how many you can carry in one trip, and backpack space is one of the cheap one-level-at-a-time upgrades — see upgrades.

What a catch is worth

Two things set the value of a fish:

  • Rarity. The official description promises rare and legendary fish as a reward for emptying bigger pools, which is the game’s stated reason to keep pushing into new Areas and Lakes.
  • Mutation. A Gold, Diamond, Venom or Hole label multiplies the value by 2x, 5x, 10x or 20x respectively — the full table is on the mutations page.

A legendary catch carrying a Hole label is worth two decisions’ worth of attention; an ordinary fish is worth exactly one — sell it and move on.

Sell, or display?

Every fish is a fork in the road:

ChoiceWhat you getWhen it is right
Sell at the ShopCash immediatelyYou need the next Pump, backpack level or walk-speed level now
Display in the aquariumCash every minute, indefinitelyThe catch is rare or mutated, and you already own display-stand space

Early on, sell nearly everything: your progression is gated by the next purchase, not by passive income. Once you have bought display-stand space, a genuinely rare catch is usually worth more parked than sold — the maths is in the aquarium guide.

Named fish we can actually confirm

Two fish names are verifiable, and both come from codes rather than from a published roster:

  • Shark — listed as the reward for WaterHappy by Beebom and Game.Guide, and for MythicFish by Roblox Den. The trackers disagree about which code gives it.
  • Exotic Mosasaurus Fish — listed by Dexerto as the MythicFish reward, and by nobody else.

That disagreement is itself the honest answer, and it is laid out source by source on the codes page.

What has never been published

There is no fish roster. No official source, no third-party tracker and no competing wiki has published a list of fish names, their rarities, their drop rates, or which pool or Area each one comes from. Pages that show you a complete fish table for this game are filling it in.

What that means practically: record the fish name and rarity wording exactly as the game shows it, add the pool or Area only when the game displays it, and treat an empty roster as an empty roster rather than as a finished list.
